Money in Motion · Case Assessment
Find it. Match it. Move it.
Enter one contract from your book. This tool returns the product category the case points toward, a dated calendar working backward from the decision date, and the language for each conversation along the way.
It stops at the category. For the illustrations, the carrier and a specific recommendation, run it past the desk — Erick, Declan or Cory.

What you can write
Which of these do you hold?
Buffered and variable contracts require securities registration and a broker-dealer relationship. This answer changes what the tool puts in front of you — it will not recommend something you cannot write.
The Current Contract
What kind of contract is it?
Where is it in its term?
Every date in the plan is calculated backward from this one.
Two years in force is the floor for any replacement conversation. Under that, it is an automatic decline.
The three questions
1 · When does this money get used?
Ask it concretely: “If you had to name a year you’d start pulling from this, what year is it?”
2 · How much loss can they live with?
Not what the questionnaire says. What they did in 2022 — and ask both spouses. The household constraint is the lower number.
3 · Do they need contractual income?
Check the floor first. If Social Security and a pension already cover fixed expenses, this is a growth conversation.
Two things that change the answer
Will they need access to part of this in the next 2–3 years?
Retirement transitions, a house, a child’s wedding. Something usually comes up in the first two years.
When should the commission land?
Timing runs both directions. The desk can pace a submission to land where you want it.

Run it past the desk
Everything above names a category. It will not name a product, a carrier or a rate — that is the desk’s job. Send the case to a DMI Vice President and you get the illustrations, the carrier comparison, and a specific recommendation you can put in front of the client.

Any one of them can take the whole case. Those focus areas are how they taught the series, not how DMI is organized. Whoever you call runs it end to end and pulls in the other two when it helps.
Copy the summary first, then paste it into the booking form or the email. Whoever you reach shows up already knowing the case.

This tool provides general product-category education for licensed financial professionals. It is not a recommendation, a suitability determination, or an illustration of any specific contract. Product suitability depends on individual client circumstances and remains the responsibility of the writing agent. Processing ranges and cutoff guidance are general planning figures, not commitments, and vary by carrier, product and state. Section 1035 exchange treatment applies to non-qualified money only; qualified money moves by trustee-to-trustee transfer. DMI does not provide tax or legal advice. Product guarantees are backed by the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company.
